Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Ada H. Bunce Sweet, ascended to Heaven on June 12, 2024.  Ada was born on November 30, 1934,  in Herkimer, New York.  She married the love of her life, Nicholas J. Sweet,  in 1953 and built a family and life together for 69 years until Nick's passing on November 15, 2022.  Ada spent her remaining months with her beloved daughter, Karen, in West Virginia.

Ada was an accomplished pianist and loved to play for her family, friends, and her church.  Ada and Nick were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Braunfels and St. John Lutheran Church  in Marion, Texas.  She was a beautiful lady, both inside and out.  Ada loved to smile and freely shared her contagious laugh.

Ada is survived by her children Ken (Wendy) Sweet, Larry (Cheryl) Sweet, Tim (Karen) Sweet, and Karen (Michael) Plankers.  She has 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, all of whom she adored.

Services for Ada will be held Friday, June 21st in New Braunfels, Texas, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home starting at 11:30 am.  She will be buried alongside Nick at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery.

You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide.  Although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
