Adalyn Rose Gustafson, Precious Daughter, Sister and Granddaughter, Blessed her family from March 2 ^nd , 2020 until she went to Heaven on October 7 ^th , 2020.

While Adalyn's time with her family was very brief, her story and life impacted many.  Adalyn's strength, will power, determination, courage, and her fighting spirit was an inspiration to her family, her medical team, and everyone else that was fortunate enough to meet her during her little life.  Words cannot describe how deeply Adalyn will be missed; however, her legacy and memory will live on forever.

Adalyn is survived by her parents, Jeffrey & Megan Gustafson & brother, Zachary, all of New Braunfels; maternal grandmother, Karen Mendenhall of Des Moines, IA; paternal grandparents, Gail & Deborah Gustafson of New Braunfels; great-grandmother, Ethel Deever of New Braunfels; uncle, John Mendenhall III of Des Moines, IA; aunt, Melissa Gregory & husband, Steve of Converse and numerous other relatives and friends.

Adalyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Mendenhall II.

The family would also like to offer a very special thanks to Adalyn's entire medical team at Texas Children's Hospital for their outstanding care and support.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held for family members and invited guests only.
