Alberta Mae Silveroli was born October 31, 1936 to Doyle and Reta VanBuskirk in Harper, Kansas.

She went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 28, 2023 at the age of 86.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dale and Ronnie VanBuskirk and three of her children, Barbara Huddleston, James Doyle "JD" Mayhew and Rebecca Preetorius.

She is survived by her sister, Reta Faye Gates (Jerome); five children, Kathy Smith (Eric), Debbie Mayhew (James), Theresa Ketchum, Roger Ketchum (Angie) and David Ketchum (Diane);  18 Grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She loved traveling all over the United States, and lived in the country of Turkey for several years, which is where Becky was born. She loved the ocean. She moved to Canyon Lake in 1972 and settled here to finish raising her children. That gave her a big legacy.

She loved gardening and feeding many generations of deer in her front yard. She managed several Circle K stores and worked for the local flower shop Small Favors for years until she retired. She was the mightiest prayer warrior for our entire family all 70 + of us and the hardest working women you will ever meet.

She now is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior.

As her Legacy will continue to live on through those she showed to Jesus Christ in love.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2023
