In Loving Memory of Annie Lee (Barth) (Nolte) Timmermann.  She was born on October 1, 1928, in New Braunfels, Texas to Curly and Thekla Barth in New Braunfels, Texas.  Annie graced this world with her presence for 95 remarkable years. She was the youngest of five and she died on April 13, 2024.

Annie was predeceased by her late husband, Curtis Nolte, parents and four siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Timmermann, her daughters, Cathy Hemsell & husband, Dale and Miki Gilbreath & husband Joe, her grandchildren, Jason Vallier, Brent Fischer, Kelli Vallier, Deana Fischer, and Jeremy Gilbreath. Annie Lee's hobbies and interests included bowling, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, baking (German Chocolate Cakes, cookies, wonderful meals), gardening (fruit, vegetables, and flowers), and canning the fruit and vegetables she grew.

Annie had a life well lived.  Her journey was one of resilience, love, and unwavering commitment. Her legacy is etched in the hearts of all who knew her. We celebrate the chapters that defined her life by the following:  Family ties, Annie Lee's devotion to family was unparalleled. She stood as the matriarch, weaving bonds that transcended generations. Her love for her husband, Curtis Timmermann, was a testament to enduring companionship, daughters and grandchildren, Cathy Hemsell and Miki Gilbreath were blessed to call her "Mom." While Annie Lee's nurturing spirit guided them through life's twists and turns and her grandchildren, Jason Vallier, Brent Fischer, Kelli Vallier, Deana Fischer, and Jeremy Gilbreath were recipients of her wisdom and affection.

Annie Lee's life was a symphony of passions and traditions to include: bowling, she rolled strikes and celebrated spares, creating memories on the lanes, playing cards, whether it was poker nights or friendly games of bridge, Annie Lee reveled in the camaraderie of cards, baking: her German Chocolate Cakes were legendary, and her cookies melted in our mouths. The aroma of her kitchen was a warm embrace, gardening, Annie Lee's green thumb nurtured fruit trees, vegetables, and vibrant flowers. She found solace in the soil and canning; The fruits of her labor "literally" filled jars with preserves. Each jar held a taste of her love.

As we bid farewell to Annie Lee, let us remember her laughter, her resilience, and the way she made us feel cherished. May her spirit continue to bloom in the gardens she tended and the recipes she passed down.  She was a cherished daughter, a devoted wife, a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Curtis Nolte and four siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to:  First Protestant Church, Elara Hospice and Elks Lodge of New Braunfels.
