Betty was born on May 29, 1935 in McLeod Texas and lived there until she was 18 years old.  Betty passed away at the age of 86 years old on Mothers Day, May 8, 2022, in Canyon Lake, Texas surrounded by family.

Betty was preceded in death by Parents Hiram & Gladys Parker, Brothers Olen & Homer Parker, Sister Juanita Parker Wall, Daughter and Son-In-Law Mary and Jerry Fojt, and Grandson David Reece Saulter.  Betty was married to William D. Saulter on October 11, 1953 and remained married for 68 years until her parting. They lived in Waco, McLeod, Houston, Riesel, Pearland and Canyon Lake Texas throughout their marriage.  They have four children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She is survived by her Husband William Saulter; Brother & Sister-In-Law Charlie and Jamee Parker; Children Patricia Dear, David & June Saulter, and Towana & Roger Krenek; Grandchildren Britney & Chris Fourman, Emily & Patrick Lindsay, Candace Krenek & Samuel Birdsall, Jackie Saulter, God-Grandchild Mason Powers and Great grandchildren Emma Jean Fourman and Lorenzo Alexander Birsall and many nieces and nephews.  She attended church at The Home Church of Clear Lake, Pastor Jay Hilton.  In Lieu of flowers, she would have requested donations sent to The Home Church of Clear Lake, P.O. Box 1092, Friendswood, TX 77549  marked for use in the Sunday School department.  She was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Location: 5002 E. Nasa Parkway, Seabrook, Tx 77586.  This is in Clear Lake Park in the White Old Church building.

Betty always had a heart for children and the children always loved her. In addition to teaching Sunday school, she worked at the Deer Park Independent School District in Food Service for over 20 years.

She loved and cared for her family, especially her grandchildren. She always made sure that each grandchild felt special. Every year her family could expect to receive a birthday call where she sang to them.  Even up until the end she would get excited to see her great-grandchildren and play with them despite being enfeebled. Her last acts were trying to figure out a way to take her entire family with her to Heaven because she loved them so much.  She was known as a strong woman and a fighter but also was unselfish and full of life and love. Her beautiful smile was known to many and her warm hugs were always cherished.
