Beverly Jean Jones was born on September 13, 1927 to William Herd (Bill) and Mary Geneva (Mamie) Pardue in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  She met the love of her life, Max Curtis Jones, on a blind date in Childress, TX. They were married until Max ' s death 68 years later.

Max and Beverly were blessed with four children, Don Curtis, Mary Jean, Philip Max and William David.

Due to her dad ' s job in the oil field, Beverly moved around Louisiana and Texas every year of her childhood.  Once she married Max they settled in West Texas where Max was an athletic director and football coach. They eventually settled in the Houston area where Max and Beverly raised their family. Beverly loved nothing more than being a wife and mother. She loved the Lord and devoted her life to helping others and teaching them about Jesus. She participated and served in the Aglow Women ' s ministry for many years and was active in their church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max and oldest son Don Jones. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jean Cunningham and husband Raymond, sons Philip Jones and wife Hollie, David Jones and wife Dianna, daughter in law Sandi Jones, grandchildren, Gary Jones and wife Lauren, Bobby Jones and wife Nadine, Matt Jones and wife Marisa, Shelly Ahrens, Curtis Cunningham and wife Kim, Cami Torres, Kip Cunningham and wife Raquel, Mason Jones, Sydney Jones, David Wassermann and wife Norma, Lance Jones and 14 great grandchildren, three sister in laws and one brother in law.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas.
