Blanche Julia Miller Kramer was born to Otto K. and Harriet H. Smith on May 17, 1930 in Austin, MN and entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on May 26, 2025 in New Braunfels, TX surrounded by some of her family.

Blanche spent her early years in Austin, MN with her two older sisters and two older brothers. She was the baby of the family hence her nickname "Babe."  Her family spent the majority of their time attending services and activities at First Baptist Church, later she became a member of Grace Baptist Church in Austin, MN. Blanche accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and could always be heard humming or singing her favorite hymns or praise songs, she loved music.

Blanche married Clayton L. Miller on August 16, 1947 in Austin, MN. She was a homemaker while Clayton pursued his career in the United States Air Force. During his career the family moved quite often and Blanche would always find the nearest Baptist Church for her family to attend and worship.  Blanche ad clayton raised seven children, so you know her life was busy caring for her family.

In the early 1990's they moved to Canyon Lake, TX to be closer to their oldest son and family in New Braunfels. It's at this time they started attending First Baptist Church New Braunfels and eventually became members. Blanche was an active member of the Sonshine Singers and learned how to play "42". Her favorite pastimes were playing games and putting jigsaw puzzles together. Clayton passed away early in 2001 and it was a short time later Blanche met and married Leonard A. Kramer at First Baptist Church.  During her marriage to Leonard she traveled to many new places and enjoyed seeing the sites.  Leonard passed away in 2012. Blanche continued being actively involved in the senior adult community at First Baptist Church.

In 2016 Blanche went to live with her daughter, Cheryl and her family in Henderson, NV. While there she enjoyed attending Anthem Community Church and fellowship with other senior adults in the activities. In 2021 Blanche returned to New Braunfels with Cheryl and her husband Mike.

Blanche was preceded in death by her two husbands Clayton Miller and Leonard Kramer, her son Richard and his wife Kathleen, her parents, sisters and their husbands, her brothers and their wives and by one great granddaughter.

Blanche is survived by her daughters: Cheryl (Michael) Acuna, New Braunfels, TX, Debra (Woodruff) Easley, MN, her sons David (IIa) Miller, Columbus, TX, James (Debra) Miller, Monticello, IL, Robert (Marceline) Miller, Spring Hill, TN and Michael (Jill) Miller, Sioux Falls, SD.  Also 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren with 2 more due this summer.  She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Emma Heimer, Austin, MN and Helen Johnson, Austin, MN and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at First Babtist Church, 733 Cross street, New Braunfels, TX. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to First Baptist Church building fund.
