Cameron Robert Stade was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cameron 48, peacefully passed away at his residence on September 17, 2024.
Cameron was born January 30, 1976, in San Antonio, the son of Clinton and Jacky Stade. He graduated from Samuel Clemens High School (1995) and Texas State Technical College (Associate of Applied Science, Welding Technology) (1997). Cameron worked at TXI for 20 years. After his colorectal cancer diagnosis, Cameron could be found sitting behind the gun display visiting with everyone at Cowboys Armory.
Cameron loved to weld, the outdoors, and animals. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Throughout his life, Cameron had been on numerous deer leases. First with his dad and then with his son. He loved attending livestock shows, supporting and cheering on his family. His jokes and sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Cameron was active in Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Cameron was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile for everyone he met and was always a joy to be around.
Cameron married the love of his life, Amber Nicole Duncan, on June 24, 2000. They were married 24 years. Together they welcome and raised two beautiful children: Caitlyn Rayann in 2005 and Cody Hue in 2011.
Cameron is survived by his wife, Amber Stade; daughter, Caitlyn Stade; son, Cody Stade; parents, Clinton and Jacky Stade; grandmother, Roberta Stade; sister Jamie Sales and husband Steve; mother-in-law, Sandra Duncan; sister-in-law, Michelle Feller and husband Chris; nieces, Krissie Feller and Josephine Sales; nephew, Ty Feller; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cameron is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and MaryLou Noonan and Alton Stade, and father in-law, Donnie Duncan.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mike and Caroline Dean, "Cowboy" Greg and Aimee Collins, Chad and Tracy Conrey, and everyone at The START Center for Cancer Center and Freedom Hospice.
We ask that you join us in remembering Cameron on September 28, 2024, Saturday, at Solomon's Porch Ministries (1269 Summerwood Drive, Suite 404, New Braunfels) at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow the celebration of life service.
