After retiring Caroline moved to New Braunfels where her daughters and grandsons lived.
Caroline was a lifetime Southern Baptist and loved going to church and being a part of a church community. First Baptist Church New Braunfels was a good fit for her with their senior programs after she moved there. Especially their choir programs. She loved to sing and was a great singer.
