The family of Chris Timothy Nybro of Canyon Lake, TX is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at the age of 70. Chris was born in Mercedes, TX to George Conrad Nybro and Elly Irma Christensen-Turner.

Chris obtained his teaching certification at Texas A&M University and spent his early adult years teaching Industrial Arts at Harlingen High school, before moving to the Canyon Lake community in the mid 80's. Chris was a Carpenter by trade and served many of the surrounding homeowners with his passionate carpentry skills. He enjoyed wood working, El Caminos, riding his zip line, and sipping on a slurpy while spending time with his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Shyann Nybro; brothers Clay and Craig Nybro; nephews Jeremy and Shawn Nybro; great niece Kaitlyn Nybro; and three stepchildren.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 1pm at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Sattler, TX located at 1071 FM 2673, Sattler, TX 78133.
