Craig Charles
Broussard
Jan 9, 1953 — Dec 10, 2024
Craig Charles Broussard was born on January 9, 1953, in Whittier California to John Charles and Kathleen (Barnett) Broussard. Craig enjoyed his youth in California with his brother Brian. Sadly, at a young age his father passed away. Craig made his way to Texas when his mother married Jim Barnes. This marriage was blessed with three daughters: Polly, Molly, and Gena.
Craig had an interesting career in the oil industry from entertaining clients to traveling by boat or helicopter to offshore oil rigs, spending weeks on end in open water. A traumatic injury redirected his career. After receiving an Associates degree from Texas State Technical College in Waco Texas he went to work in the semiconductor field as a maintenance technician.
Craig's pride and joy are his two daughters, Candace (Chrissy) and Ashton. They have fond memories of riding in their dad's pick-up truck listening to him sing and watching his hands and feet beat to the music. If you never heard Craig sing you really missed out on something special.
On August 12, 2001, Craig married the love of his life Annette. They opened Freedom Mail Center in Sattler Texas and became a part of the community of small business owners in the Canyon Lake area.
Craig's life was spent doing the things he loved which included antiquing, going to gun shows, camping, spending time with friends and family, and spreading the word of God.
Craig went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, December 10, 2024, at the age of 71.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Craig is survived by his wife Annette Broussard and step-father Jim Barnes; daughters: Candace Robinson and husband O'Neal, Ashton Mancini and husband Chiron, and Amanda Johnson; sons: Jason Pucel and wife Jenny, Brandon Mullens and wife Amber, and Blake Mullens; 3 sisters; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Mount Valley Cemetery in Sattler, Texas.
