Danny Allen
Knight
Jul 23, 1975 — Jun 14, 2023
Danny Allen Knight was born to John & Betty (McCoy) Knight on July 23, 1975 in San Antonio, Texas.
Danny unexpectedly passed away on June 14, 2023, in New Braunfels, Texas at the young age of 47.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, John Knight; Brother, Ronald Sutton; Grandmother, Mary McCoy and Stepdad, John Yost.
He is survived by his soulmate and partner, Rachael Traynor of New Braunfels, Texas; children, Kahliel Traynor of Portage, Wisconsin, Trinity and Carter Traynor of New Braunfels, Texas; mother, Betty Yost; sisters, Christy Yost (Michael Sprott), Shannon Yost (Jacob Gonzales) and Patricia Sutton, all of San Antonio, Texas; four nieces, Tyronda, Wendi, Briana and Lily; four nephews, Donnie, Chris, Jayden and Landon; aunts, Lucille Hays and Hester Shirley; uncle, Donald McCoy (Minerva) and numerous other relatives and friends.
Danny started out as a handyman at a young age which evolved him into a skillful Journeyman Plumber which earned him a Foreman title and piqued his interest and desire to fix and create things. Danny was a talented artist who won countless awards throughout his life. Danny lost his father at a young age but was fortunate enough to build a special bond with his stepdad, whom which introduced Danny to what would become his love for golf. If you didn't catch Danny at the golf course on Sundays, you might have seen him being tugged around by Rachael floating the river. Playing bingo with his mother and sisters became almost a weekly venture he just couldn't get enough of. This was even more evident in the fact that Danny could never turn down a trip to the casino. American Idol was always a must see and Danny spared no one's feelings with his opinions. Under Friday night lights was where he shined the brightest while Rachael and himself cheered on Carter and their hometown team. Being the social butterfly he was, Danny was just simply adored by everyone around him. He was a true animal lover and couldn't help himself when it came to bringing home a new little furry friend. Above all, Danny loved his family and would go to the ends of the Earth for each and every one of them. He was a true light and the world will forever be a darker place without him here.
