On December 7, 2023, Bruce left all his pain and suffering behind and is now truly Home.

Born October 16, 1947, in Lulling, Texas to Elroy Oscar Schulz and Myrtle (Reimer) Schulz,

Bruce spent his formative years in San Antonio before moving to Georgewest, Texas where he married Dreama Ferrell in 1974. Bruce and Dreama enjoyed 49 years together until his passing.

His passion was law enforcement and he served Live Oak County as a deputy for 21 years until an injury forced his retirement. In 2007, Bruce and Dreama moved to New Braunfels.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents, his sister, Phyllis Oates and brother-in-law Donald Oates.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dreama, sons, Raymond Allen Proctor and Jason Lee Schulz, sister Carol Erwin (Ted), Grandchildren, Thomas, Benjamin, Trey and Aiden Proctor, Great Grandchildren, Marshall, Phoebe, Thea, Salem and Paisley, numerous nieces and nephews.

Bruce's life will be celebrated on December 16, 2023,

at Eastside Baptist Church, 983 Holly Street, New Braunfels at 11AM.

After which attendees are invited to join the family in the fellowship hall for lunch.
