David Lewis Wallace (76), of Bulverde, TX, passed away on October 3, 2025, at home with his family at his side. He was born on March 4, 1949, in Palestine, TX to Gilbert and Melba Wallace.

After serving in the Army, David studied photojournalism and became an award-winning photographer for the Corpus Christi Caller Times. Later he became a successful Real Estate Broker and owned Windward Properties for 30 years. David also built offices and residences in Corpus Christi and Belize, Central America, his favorite vacation spot.

David is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 31 years; his daughter Shannon Wallace; two stepsons, David James, and Landon Matlock; his beloved dogs Kirby, Percy and Bailee; his brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

At David's request services will remain private. Flowers and gifts are not necessary, but thoughts and prayers are appreciated. David will be laid to rest at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas.
