Dora Newman Nuhn passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 107 years of age.

She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband Benjamin 'Roger' Nuhn, her 3 children Carl Kesei, Phyllis (Kesei) Cooper, and Franklin Kesei, and her 3 brothers Earl, Robert, and Lloyd Newman and sisters Louise Knodel, Myrtle Rockafeller, Sissy Longfellow, and Mary Lou Beasley.

Dora moved to her home on Lake Dunlap in 1963 and remained there until she passed.  She and Roger loved the lake life and traveled the world with her travel agency or his journalism, but always returned to Lake Dunlap to host family and friends.

She is survived by Grandsons Jeff (MaryLou) Donaldson and Eric Kesei and granddaughter Melissa (Billy) Wilber. Her nieces Druanna (Terry) Helms, Patty Williams, Cathy Lindstrom, Valerie Whiten, and Denise Nance and great nephew Eric Jacobitz.

Dora's  Donaldson great grandchildren, Geoffrey (Megan), Jessica, James (Amanda), Zach, and Zoe provide her 6 great-great grandchildren.

Dora's family would like to recognize Harry Beck, longtime employee and caregiver; Holy Savior Hospice Nurse Jennifer Gomez, CNA Lindsay also from Holy Savior Hospice; Visiting Angels Sherene Pride and Dora Fuentes for the excellent care that made her stay at home possible.

Services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Eastside Baptist Church 983 Holly St  New Braunfels.   Visitation at 9 am, services at 10, followed by graveside at 11 am.  As a long time member, Dora was proud of the work Eastside Baptist does spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  For that reason, the family requests donations to Eastside Baptist Church New Braunfels in lieu of flowers.

Those who knew Dora know that she is now eternally younger, prettier, and richer and we are all better for having known her.
