Obituary

Dorothy Lorraine Adcock-Pocher, age 83, of Canyon Lake, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 30, 1942, in Floresville, Texas, to her parents, Herbert and Maxine (Tiny) Adcock.

Dorothy was a woman of deep and strong convictions, holding fast to what she believed. She was saved from sin by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and was daily transformed by His saving grace. She also found joy in creating charcoal drawings and was a gifted piano player. Her family takes great comfort in knowing that she is now home and resting with the Lord.

She is survived by her loving husband, Troy; her daughters, Leslie Couture, Jill Santos, and Christa Faulkner, along with her favorite blue-eyed son-in-law, Chuck Faulkner. She is also survived by her beloved aunt Minnie Ruth (Mitzi) Boeselt, her sister, Patricia Williams; and her brother, Herbert Adcock Jr. (Buzz) and his wife, Virginia.

Additionally, she leaves behind her seven grandchildren, Joshua Sumrell, Leah Sumrell, Larissa Lakanen, Chandler Faulkner, Chelsee Hamilton, Alicia Uballe, and Sofia Santos; her ten great-grandchildren, Hunter Faulkner, Andie Faulkner, Jaxon Faulkner, Millie Faulkner, Ava Lakanen, Lily Lakanen, Atticus Nesenson, Owen Faulkner, Ira Faulkner, and Sawyer Faulkner; her great-great-granddaughter, Scarlet; and numerous nieces, nephews; Jodi Cannon, Lana Wright, Natalie Arredondo, Nathan Adcock, Nicholas Adcock, Chuck Stewart, Amy Alexander, and Jason Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Maxine (Tiny) Adcock; her sister, Joan Adcock Alexander, her aunts Lorraine and Dorothy, her great niece Jenna LaPoint; and her grandchildren, Jerod Uballe and Ashley Crick.
