Dorothy Faye Thomas Christy was born to Gomer & Bertie Mavis (Wood) Thomas on January 16, 1934 in Brownwood, Texas.

She passed from this life on January 22, 2023 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 88.  She was a resident of Canyon Lake Texas.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Normie & Lucille Christy; brother, Joe Robert Thomas and daughter-in-law, Debbie Land Christy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Jack Christy of Canyon Lake; brother, Arthur Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Christy, Jr. (Michele), Gerald Christy, Terry Christy (Vicky); daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Patterson (Bobby); seven grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Funeral Service time at 1:00 PM at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake, 1071 FM 2673 (Sattler), Canyon Lake, Texas 78132 with Pastor Dale Jones officiating.

Interment will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 SH-46, New Braunfels, Texas 78132
