Dorothy Nell Weems of New Braunfels, Texas, was born October 9, 1921, to Abner Wright & Pearl (Lambert) Luker in Stockdale, Texas. She passed from this life on March 26, 2024, in Katy, Texas

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Weems Sr.; her son, James E. Weems Jr., and her granddaughter, Kimberly Weems.

Dorothy is survived by her grandchildren, Cheryl Winters & husband, Steve of Katy, and David Weems of Austin; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jennifer, and Matthew, and their spouses, Jimmy, Steven, and Daniela, and her four great-great grandchildren, Bailey, Jayden, Weston, and Matthew Jr.

She spent the last part of her life enjoying playing with her great-great-grandchildren and being with her family.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024,

at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park (Garden of Memories Pavilion),

2951 TX-46, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
