Evan James Bolano, 31, entered into the presence of the Lord on June 21, 2026. Though his time on earth was far too short, he leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and intelligence that lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Born in Lexington, KY, Evan graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in Huntington, WV, before earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. Evan approached life in the same way he approached his career as an engineer: with a sharp mind, an inquisitive spirit, and a determination to solve problems with creativity and precision.

Known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and remarkable intellect, Evan had a passion for soccer and played for his high school and the West Virginia Titans. He also enjoyed piano, bouldering, tutoring, and tinkering with his 3D printer to create fun and useful things for his friends and family. Whether sharing a clever joke, engaging in thoughtful conversation, or lending a helping hand, Evan had a way of making those around him feel valued.

Evan is survived by his loving mother, Linda Greene, his father, Luis Bolano, his siblings Andrew, Devon, Alex, Sam, and Mary, his niece Ella, and his nephew Connor. He is also remembered by his extended family members, friends, classmates, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by his presence.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Evan was a believer in Christ and that he passed into perfect joy and eternal life. His laughter and compassionate heart will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to know him. His memory as a loving son and brother will forever be cherished and preserved in the minds of those fortunate enough to call him a friend and family.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Evan's life and faith will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston, Texas, on August 1 at 10:30 am followed by a family graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery.
