Evelyn Ruth Lively was born December 15, 1926, in Pine Castle Florida and died peacefully at the age of 97 on January 22, 2024, in Canyon Lake Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Wheeler Lively and Pauline Rebeca Winters (King), her brother Bobby Joe Lively, and her son Joe Andrew Christman.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ann Dunks (Christman), four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
After spending her first 50 years in the Orlando Florida area, she moved to Bryan TX. During her 40 years in Bryan, she was employed by Texas A&M University, and enjoyed being an active membership of First Christian Church, as well as the Bryan chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Red Hat Society.

Her final move was to Canyon Lake TX in 2017, where she continued with her passions as a seamstress and painter, sewing gowns for the children at Shriners hospitals and painting until just recently.
