Gary Alan Lynch, of New Braunfels, was born March 1, 1952 in Montgomery, Alabama. He left us to be with the Lord on March 16, 2024 at the age of 72. Gary was the child of Frank and Claudine Lynch.

Being the youngest of five children in an Air Force family, Gary's family lived in various states, including South Carolina and Hawaii. In his high school years, the family settled in New Braunfels where he attended Canyon High School. It was here that Gary met his best friend and soulmate Cindy. He and Cindy married shortly after graduation and were married for 50 years. Gary briefly attended Southwest Texas State University, before leaving to pursue a career in construction. He initially started his own construction company, before joining Koehler Company in Seguin where he worked for 35 years. Gary met lifelong friends while working for the Koehler Company, and was proud of the projects that they completed. Examples of the beautiful private and commercial building projects he managed are all over Central Texas.

Gary and Cindy enjoyed adventures and traveling. He enjoyed music and attending concerts. After retirement, Gary and Cindy enjoyed their fishing cottage in Rockport. His hobbies included playing softball, hunting, and fishing.

Gary is survived by his son, Nathan Lynch and wife Kourtney, brother, Denny Lynch and wife Becky; sisters, Cheryl Union and husband Joe, Debbie Weiss and husband Mike; grandchildren, Emerson and Summer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by sister Lynn and her husband Richard Sampler, and his beloved wife Cindy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024

at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels with Pastor Ray Still officiating.
