Heather Diane (Matthews) Morris, born July 14, 1985, who resided in McAllen, TX, passed away on July 24, 2025, in an automobile accident that occurred east of Roswell, NM, on Highway 380.

Heather graduated from Judson High School in 2004 and earned an associate's degree from Alamo College in 2010.  She enjoyed cars and was on the staff of the Impala SS Club of America. Heather was a devoted wife and loving mother who invested all of herself in her family. As a mother, she was devoted to the education of her children and was Chairman of the Hope Homeschool Co-op. One of her favorite places to visit in San Antonio was Morgan's Wonderland with her children.

Heather is preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Marie (Matthews) Sinclair, and brother, Ryan Lee Matthews.

Heather is survived by her spouse, Michael Morris; children, Ashley, Nicole, and Zachary; parents, Connie and Patrick (Rick) Matthews; brother, Justin Matthews and grandparents, Patricia & Larry Matthews, Ruth Rozas and Arthur Rozas.

Visitation will be at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, TX, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.  Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 State. HWY 46, New Braunfels, TX 78132

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Morgan's Wonderland.
