Ima Gene "Genie" Shaw, 70 passed away on Monday August 9, 2021 at her home in Spring Branch, Texas after losing her fight with cancer with her husband and Loved ones at her side.

Genie is the daughter of the late Gene and Jackie Thomason. She was born on February 13, 1951, in Austell, Georgia.

Genie is survived by her husband, Ken Shaw, Daughter in Law, Carrie (Kaiser) Brooks, sister, Carolyn, brother, Jimmy 3 grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jacqueline and Benjamin and many other family members and friends.

Genie is predeceased by her parents and her only child, Jason Brooks on January 8, 2021.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
