After retirement she took up oil painting and became quite an artist, painting hill country scenery and beautiful bluebonnet pictures. She became a charter member of the Canyon Lake Art Guild and enjoyed many years of participation in the group including serving as President. She often donated her artwork to her church where it was raffled to raise funds to benefit local youth.
Imogene loved her family and her church, St. Francis by the Lake, and her church family. She was a founding member of St. Francis in 1979 and was always active in many of the ministries there including Daughters of the King and the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
She had many interests over the years including fishing at Canyon Lake, golf, watching her beloved Spurs (enjoyed best with a glass of wine), and loved to be among family and friends. Her most favorite event of the year was her "Great Gram's Christmas Gathering", when all her family gathered to share the day with her and each other.
We will all miss her and her wonderful smile and quick sense of humor.
