Inda Virginia Jeanes died on January 13, 2021.  Inda was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, to Manuel and Patria Feliciano-Aguliar.  She was the only daughter but had two brothers, Hector and Neri.  She came to the United States at the early age of 17 to attend Texas Women's College.  She knew very little English at the time but was able to graduate with a degree in Social Work.

It was during her college life that Inda met the man she would spend the next 66 years with—Cecil Jeanes, Jr.  His nickname was C.B. but because of her limited English, she fondly referred to him as "B.C.".  They married in July, 1952.

Shortly after they wed, C.B. and Inda began their life in the military and were stationed at numerous Air Force bases across the country.  Along the way, they met great people that remained friends for many, many years.  Inda was a devoted Air Force wife and did her part to serve her country.

After raising her three children, Inda took an interest in retail.  She owned several small gift boutiques and ended her working career as the manager of Kasper Suits in San Marcos, Texas.

Inda is survived by her daughter Linda Taylor and husband, Butch; son Paul Jeanes and wife, Annette; and daughter Lori McDonald and husband, Mike; her four grandchildren, Lauren Guest, Carly Hipp, Taylor Gajan and Christian Jeanes; and 7 1/2 great grandchildren.  She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, C.B. and her two brothers.

A public visitation will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
