Jacob Daniel Morris, 27, of La Vernia, Texas passed away on October 8 , 2021 in Comal County, Texas. Jake was born in Jackson, Michigan to Craig and Ta mi M orris on January 9 th 1994 .

He graduated high school at Northwest High School in Jackson , Michigan and attended college at Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis, Indiana. After moving to Texas, he married his high school sweetheart Shannon Moorehead on April 11 th 2015. Currently he worked in the oil industry where he worked many hours providing an amazing life for hi s wife and daughter.

Jake is proceeded in death by his father Craig Morris, grandfather Robert Morris, Robert Gibson, and Tim Mingus.

Jake is survived by his wife Shannon, daughter Sophia, mother Tami Eldred (Steve Eldred), brother Cody Morris, sister s, Bailey Eldred and Ashley Patterson , many nieces and nephews, father and mother-in-law Tom and Dawn Moorehead , g randmothers Linda Morris, Rita Gibson, and Mary Jo Akers along with many loving aunts uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 20 th 2021 , at St. John Lutheran Church in Marion, Texas from 6-9 pm.
