James Alfred Richardson, 66, went to be in the presence of the almighty God in heaven on Thursday, October 5th, 2023. He was a patient father, adoring brother, caring uncle and family member, and a loving husband and grandad to 3 beautiful grand babies. He met his wife of 43 years, Virginia Ann, while pursuing his BA at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.

James had an affinity for animals, raising everything from chickens and guinea pigs, to tortoises and the beloved poodles, even an alligator when he was a kid.

He instilled a passion for learning in his own children and always nurtured creativity and logic. His insatiable curiosity made for lively and engaging conversations and his youthful exuberance never dimmed.

He was a master guppy breeder, an amateur British Historian, a cryptozoology enthusiast, a prolific plant whisperer and a vivid dreamer who inspired the aspirations of those around him, but most of all he loved the Lord and his family.
