James Curtis Wright, 83, of New Braunfels, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 24, 2021, in New Braunfels.  He was born on July 22, 1937, in Crockett, Texas to Grady and Maybel (Corbet) Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patsy; daughters, Donna Hales of New Braunfels, Sherry Curatolo (Lew) of Marble Falls, and Jamie George of Austin, son, James C. Wright, Jr. (Martha) of Bay City; grandchildren, Leslie Lide, Ian Stewart, Wyatt George, Robert George, Wesley Hales, Cody Wright, Trey Wright, Justin Wright, and Nicki Wright; siblings, Shirley Alvarado, Dean Williamson, Carolyn Ming, Kenneth Wright, and Brenda Burke, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Delores Wright and Grady Gene Wright.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels.
