Jeanene Carol Ryan, 62, was born to James and Mary McAfee on May 27, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on October 2, 2024, in New Braunfels, Texas.

Jeanene loved her family fiercely and was the first to lend a hand or an encouraging word. Filled with wisdom, care, drive, and a never quit ethic for hard work. She was everyone's oak in the storm until the very end and will continue to be that to everyone that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Matthew and Timothy.

She is survived by her son, Gary Michael, fiancé Ashley, and her daughter Mackenzie. Daughter, Amy Ryan. Son, Cameron Ryan. Her best friend and partner, Gary Lynn. Her brother James McAfee and wife Brenda; sister, Mary Lange and husband Ronald.  Her cousin, Vanessa, numerous nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog, Patches.

A service will be held at Doeppenschimdt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Jeanene's name.
