Jerry Ray Frantzen, Sr. was born to Oswald Emil & Beatrice Rosamond (King) Frantzen on October 22, 1940 in Fredericksburg, Texas.  He passed from this life on August 23, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 83.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Beverly Ann Frantzen in 2012.

Jerry is survived by his children, Tobie Ybarra & husband, Danny Ybarra of Katy, Texas, Jerry Ray Frantzen, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Carrie Bodin of Valley Mills, Texas, Penny Cunningham & husband, Neal Cunningham of New Braunfels, Texas, Michelle "Miki" Nading & husband, James Nading of Hutto, Texas;  grandchildren, Christopher Ybarra, Danielle Ybarra Bugio & husband, Niko Bugio of Katy, Texas, Bryant Bodin & wife, Savannah Bodin of Schertz, Texas, Michael Bodin, Cheline Bodin & husband, Nathan Klawinsky of Anderson, Texas, Korey Cunningham, Lexi Cunningham, Maddie Nading and Jack Frantzen; great-grandchildren, Cody Ybarra, Dane Ybarra, Dominic Bugio, Aiden Bodin, Karson Bodin, Cal Klawinsky and Hayes Klawinsky.

Jerry was an amazing man with a big heart. He spent over 50 years with the love of his life, Beverly. He was a devoted father to all five of his children, that he has passed his golden heart onto. His love for his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless bonus children will carry on forever.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.  A Procession will depart the funeral home enroute to Hill Country Memorial Gardens at approximately 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  Following the procession to the cemetery, a Graveside Service & Interment will be held at 11:00 AM at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
