John William "Jack" Forster, 77 of Canyon Lake, Texas, passed away at home surrounded by family on February 25, 2026.  He was born in Niagara Falls, New York to Richard Alexander of Scotland and Jeneva "Jean" Forster Gordon of New York.

Jack graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with a degree in Chemistry and went on to have a full and rewarding career in the oilfield.  Traveling both domestic and internationally to Indonesia, China, Brunei, Egypt and Thailand where he met his wife Phakama.

Jack is preceded in death by both his parents, his brother, Paul Forster and also his son Rhett H. Forster in 2025.

Jack leaves a loving wife of 17 years, Phakama Forster of Canyon Lake, Tx and son Naravich "Poom" Pongren, currently serving in the United States Navy.  He is also survived by his former wife, Janene Forster and their daughter,  Beth Geary as well as her  two children, Kiley Rodriguez, age 20 and Wyatt T. Geary, age 17 of San Antonio.

A Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, March 3rd at the residence of Terry (Rebecca) Gill, Canyon Lake, Texas
