Johnny Lee Harrod departed this life on February 1, 2021 at the age of 57 at the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, TX  after a brief illness.  He was born on September 26, 1963 at Fort Hood, Texas and was the son of the late Victor J. Harrod, Sr. and Donnita I. Martin Harrod and also preceded in death by his nephew Kevin C. Wolnik along with numerous aunts, uncles and grandparents.  He is  survived by his siblings, Kristy K. Wymore (Mike) of New Braunfels, TX, Jeffrey E. Harrod of Omaha, NE, Victor J. Harrod, Jr of New Braunfels, TX,   His niece, Kari Wolnik of Junction City, KS and his biological son, Brad A. Triplett of Council Bluffs, Iowa and  great nieces and nephews as well as Step-Mother Carol Harrod and two step brothers, Tom and Joe Butcher.

John was an avid tinkerer.  He loved technology and worked on computers. He enjoyed working on old cars and he especially loved his 3 Shelties, Cody, Denny and Ali. Being an Army brat he attended schools all over the United States and Babenhausen, Germany.  He worked for Amazon in Schertz, Texas prior to his death.

There will no service at this time but a Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future in Council Bluffs, Iowa.   Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation on John's behalf.
