Josefina A. Peńa 79 joined our Lord and Savior on June 7, 2023. We know she was welcomed in the loving arms of Jesus and is now at eternal peace. Heaven has indeed gained an angel. Josefina was born on March 16, 1944 to Trinidad Almaguer and Ramona Reyna and raised by Victoriano and Ramona Reyna in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up in San Antonio she enjoyed Fiesta and Easter Festivities at Brackenridge Park with her family.

Josefina was preceded in death by her parents Victoriano and Ramona Reyna. Juanita Lucy Almaguer, Narciso V. Mendoza and Gloria V. Reyna. She is survived by six siblings, Trinidad Almaguer, Bernadino Mendoza, Victoriano Reyna Jr., Herlinda Reyna, Corina Reyna, Jacquelyn Reyna Stovall.

Children: Donald and Janie Peńa from Canyon Lake, Tx, Darlene and Louis Castillo from China Grove, Tx, Darrell and Leticia Peńa from Cibolo, Tx.

Grandchildren: Jennifer, Thomas, Kathy, Daniela, Diego and David Peńa, Melissa and Ronald Conway, Valerie and Sheldon Tausch, Nicholas and Manuelita Castillo, Miranda and Reagan Peńa.

Great Grandchildren: Destiny, JaCee, Lilianna, Jeremiah and Jenesis Peña, Legend Conway, Zachary, Joshua and Sophia Tausch, Jacqueline and Julian Castillo.

Josefina lived her life to the fullest. She loved and cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. If you needed a cheerleader,she was always ready and willing to cheer you on. Josefina was always volunteering her services, she loved helping with Church activities and Eden Heights Community activities. She will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life for Josefina A Peña will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Hill Country Christian Church, 20845 SH-46 Spring Branch, Tx 78070, with the Pastor Rick Son officiating.
