Joyce Rae Moore passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026, in Canyon Lake, Texas. Joyce was born on September 5, 1942, in Austin, Texas to Clovis (Sam) Raymond and Mabel (Moorman) Kelly. She grew up in Austin and graduated from McCallum High School and she later took college courses in accounting. In 1961, she married Robert T. Moore, and they had two children that they raised in the Austin and Pflugerville area. She and Robert eventually settled and retired in Canyon Lake, Texas.

Joyce made a lifelong career in banking beginning at Austin National Bank, along with numerous other banks including Cattleman's State Bank and retiring at Wells Fargo Bank in San Antonio, Texas. She and Robert spent 50 years involved in drag boat racing. She bowled leagues and tournaments for many decades. She loved waterskiing and taught anyone that wanted to learn. She enjoyed hosting her church friends' lunches and games. She enjoyed her time with family and close friends as much as they enjoyed spending time with her. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be dearly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Moore; her son, Kelly T. Moore & wife, Traci;  her daughter, Stephanie L. Chandler & husband Justin; granddaughter, Carleigh; sister, Nancy Kelly; sisters-in-law, Edna Ruth Melton and Betty Eschberger; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved animals, Sophie and Oscar.
