Karen Lynn
Honnoll
Mar 5, 1947 — Feb 15, 2024
On Thursday afternoon, February 15, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas, Karen Lynn Honnoll, precious and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was joyfully reunited with her parents, James Fred and Hazel Williams, granddaughter, Kasie Lynn Clary, and other dear family and friends who preceded her.
Karen was born on March 5, 1947 in Houston, Texas to James Fred and Hazel Williams. She grew up in the Houston area with her younger sisters and graduated from South Houston High School in 1965. Karen married the love of her life and best friend, Larry Honnoll, on July 31,1972. They created a lifetime of cherished memories together for over 51 years.
Karen loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God's Word. She was devoted to her husband, her children and their families, and delighted in spending time with them. They were God's gifts to her. Karen faithfully and joyfully served the Lord from an early age by singing in the choir and playing the organ and piano in the various churches she attended. The Lord was usually a part of any conversation you shared with her, and we all know how much she loved to talk. She left a precious legacy to her family of God's amazing love and grace, and she was an example of Christian faith to all who knew her. We look forward to the day we will be reunited with her in Heaven.
Karen is survived by her husband, Larry Honnoll of New Braunfels, Texas; her children, Allison Cox (Phillip), Kyle Honnoll (Bony), Michelle Beard, and Kevin Honnoll; sisters, Becky Hazen (Kelley) and Jean Story (Frank); grandchildren, Kendall Ventura (Matthew), Kenneth Clary (Courtney), Kory Honnoll, Karl Honnoll, Kristen Clary, Cathy Honnoll, Owen Beard, and Tyler Honnoll; great-grandchildren, Lenora, Leo, Samuel, Oliver and Ellis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
