Kathy Able was born to Stanley and Loretta Smith on March 17, 1944, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She passed from this life on March 18, 2022, in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 78.

Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents and ex-husband Paul Able.

She is survived by her son Jeremy Able and Daughter-in-law Marjo Able, Grandson Ryan Norton, Great-Grandson Zachary Norton, Brother Jerry Smith and Sister-in-law Dianne Blue Smith, Brother Michael Smith, Sister Monica Jackson and Brother-in-law Mike Jackson, Aunt Mary Jane Geary and cousins Margie McAndrew, Sue VanBladel, Mimi Malesky and Pete Geary.

Kathy grew up in Milwaukee, Haiti and New Orleans. She graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy in 1962.

Kathy enjoyed painting, gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends and of course her cats!  She loved the New Orleans Saints and San Antonio Spurs.

She worked as an office manager for several companies during her professional career.

A Memorial Service will he held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday March 26, 2022 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake in Sattler, Texas.
