With profound sadness and unwavering faith, we celebrate the life of Kathy Ann Hundley, who peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 23, 2026, at the age of 63.

As the faithful Christian woman that she was, Kathy lived her life as a reflection of God's love. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared His love through her kindness, generosity, and compassion for others.

Kathy was born on January 16, 1963 in Edinburg, Texas, to Brucilla and Ted Stevens.

Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. Her two sons, Charley and Michael, were the greatest blessing of her life, and she loved them beyond measure. She was their biggest supporter and constant source of encouragement and unconditional love.

She also had a deep love for her dogs, Sissy and Blue, who were cherished members of her family and faithful companions. Whether it be spending a peaceful day out at Canyon Lake or enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the Guadalupe River, she found comfort in the beauty of nature all while creating treasured memories with those that she loved.

Her smile was ever-present, always lighting up every room she entered and bringing comfort to everyone around her. Known for her selflessness and giving spirit, Kathy never hesitated to help someone in need. She offered her time, love, and prayers freely, always putting others before herself.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May we honor her memory by sharing a smile, extending a helping hand, and embracing those we love as she so beautifully did.

Kathy is survived by her Common law husband Jerry Jones (J.D.); Chuck Hundley, the father of her sons. Son's: Charley Hundley (Heather), Michael Hundley (Ashley); Grandchildren: Kayley, Waylon, Gabriel and Jeremiah; Her brother, Randy Stevens (Kara) and their two sons; along with countless lifelong friends and family who will miss her dearly.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her mother, Brucilla Gillilan and Father, Ted Stevens.

A memorial will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 12 P.M. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home.
