Kristy (Rogers) Huff of Canyon Lake, TX, passed away in her home on August 1, 2026.

She was born in Borger, TX, on March 15, 1953, to John Confare Rogers and Velma (Brooks) Rogers of Borger. She grew up in Phillips, graduating from Phillips High School in 1971. She married Thomas Huff on January 8, 1977, at First Baptist Church Phillips. Kristy worked as the school registrar and PEIMS coordinator at Borger Middle School for 20 years and was a member of First Baptist Church Borger. She moved to Canyon Lake in 2013, where she attended Cranes Mill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Canyon Lake Noon Lions Club, serving in various roles, including Vice President and Secretary, and was named Lion of the Year. Kristy enjoyed serving in her community, traveling, and working in her garden.

Kristy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Curtis Rogers of Amarillo. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Thomas Huff, of Canyon Lake; her daughters, Robyn Creighton and husband Luke of Graceville, FL; Brooke Lopez and husband Eli of Devine, TX; and Sierra Huff of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, Anastasia Creighton, Joshua Creighton, Sophia Creighton, Kadence Lopez and Jonah Lopez; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:30PM at Cranes Mill Baptist Church in Canyon Lake.
