Lane Bickham was born to Bryan L. and Anne (Megginson) Bickham September 26,1935 in Bay City, Texas. Lane passed away peacefully in New Braunfels, Texas on March 19, 2025.

Lane was known for his easygoing ways, friendliness, kindness, and caring all combined with unswerving devotion to his family. In his career he achieved high success and recognition for his ability to bring huge construction projects to completion. He was project manager for regional shopping malls in and around Houston, Texas including Baybrook, Willowbrook, Deerbrook, and The Woodlands Malls. He also oversaw the construction in the Dallas area of The Parks of Arlington, and Stonebriar Center in Frisco as well as other projects in Utah and California.  He loved being with family more than anything and had his most enjoyable times traveling with his wife Nancy.

Lane was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Crenshaw) Bickham to whom he was married 41 plus years until her passing on March 15, 1999.

Lane is survived by his sister Lois (Jim) Heslep; daughter Rebecca Bickham; son, Bryan (Rhonda) Bickham, and their children: Lara (Joe) Rockstroh, Sarah, Isaac (Autumn) Bickham, Anastasia, Zane and Karina; son Ross Bickham and his daughter Paige Velazquez, and her children Beckham and Tatum; Ross's son Joshua (Kenzi) Bickham and their two sons Blayse and Brazos. Lane is also survived by sister in law Olien Crenshaw, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Burial will be at Fischer Cemetery in Fischer Texas with a private ceremony. A memorial service will be held at a time and place to be determined.
