Layne Cai Adams went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2024 after a UTV accident. Though his time on earth was short, his impact as an incredible friend, classmate, and teammate will never be forgotten. Layne's kindness, humor, and fun spirit made every day brighter, filled with laughter and joy. He loved fishing, playing football and basketball with his Oak Run Middle School friends, the Oregon Ducks, and a good bean and cheese taco.

The family's confident hope rests in knowing Layne has eternal life in Heaven because he trusted Jesus as Lord. He is deeply loved by his parents Cole and Jen Adams, and his three older siblings, Kate, Leighton, and Lance; and by his grandparents Jean and Randall Boles, Sandra Adams, and Kelly and Mike Adams along with an incredible community of other family, teammates, and friends.

The Adams family invites you to join them in celebrating Layne's life on Saturday January 13 at the New Braunfels Unicorn Stadium, 1:00 PM. To honor Layne, they ask everyone to wear Unicorn blue, Oregon Ducks colors or gear, and/or bright mismatched tall socks.
