Lee N. Stroman, age 78, born in Laredo, Tx to William L. Stroman, Jr. and Alma Louise Bowen, passed from this life on December 15, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Stroman is survived by his loving wife of 57 and half years, Beverly, and two sons: Bryan Stroman and David Stroman. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Alfredo Stroman, Matthew Stroman, Taj Stroman, two loving daughters in laws, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He grew up as the oldest child of three brothers and two half-sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Robert A. Stroman.

Lee is a veteran of the Vietnam War and a 25-year US Air Force veteran, attaining the rank of MSgt, where he earned several medals, including the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor x2, Air Force Good Conduct Medal x7, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.

He served multiple tours with distinction as an Airman in Vietnam, including assignments with the AC-47 Spooky gunships and EC-121 College Eye. While serving in the Air Force he received his Community College of the Air Force degree. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Air Force never left him, as friends and family will attest.

In retirement he became active as a Free Mason, Shriner and Order of the Eastern Star.

Lee's memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23 at 6pm at the Mason Hall in Blanco, Tx and he will be interred on December 27 at 915am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers include - Bryan Stroman, David Stroman, Alfredo Stroman, Matthew Stroman, Al Wiggers and Terry E. Miller.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Canyon Lake, Tx, Fire and Ems.
