Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Leon Haisten, passed away in his home on July 5, 2025 at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Roberts) Haisten; his daughters and their spouses, Debbie & Roger Castillo and Valerie & Jon Lamoureaux; his grandchildren Thommy Longoria and Kailey Lamoureaux; his brother L.R. Haisten; nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was born in Clayton, New Mexico on July 23, 1944. He had a lifelong passion for hunting & fishing, and he loved to tell stories about his adventures with others. He married his high school sweetheart in 1963 and continued to share an amazing life's journey for 62 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lois H. and Oneta Haisten, as well as his sisters: Mary, Helen, Glenna, Allene, and his brothers: Wyman and Tommy.

Graveside services will be held at Hill Country Memorial Gardens (11700 State Highway 46, New Braunfels, TX 78132) on Friday, July 18th, at 11:00 AM.  All friends and family are welcome.
