Linda Louise Braun of Canyon Lake, Texas was born to Edward and Patricia Braun on February 9, 1957 in Evanston, Illinois.  Linda grew up in Glenview, IL graduating from Glenbrook South High School.  She worked and lived in Illinois and Washington, D.C. before settling in Texas in the 1980s.

Constantly following her own unique path in life, she loved all creatures and felt deeply about the protection of wildlife.  Always an outdoor girl fishing was a favorite pastime.  Linda loved all holiday celebrations and to cook for friends when she was able.  She will be missed by family and close friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Paul.  Survivors include sister Nancy and husband David Smith of Rome, GA; sister Sue and husband Bob Strout of New Braunfels, TX; as well as three nieces, two nephews, and their families.

Per her request remembrance will be private.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to National Parks Conservation Association or a charity of your choice.
