Linsey Joann Ponfick, 33, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2026.

Linsey was born on October 7, 1992, in San Antonio, Texas. At just five weeks old, she was welcomed into the home of foster parents Walter and Sue. In time, she officially became a Ponfick and remained a cherished member of their family for the rest of her life.

Linsey graduated from Canyon High School in 2013. She never allowed life's challenges to define her. Throughout her school years, she proudly participated in the band, was a member of the dance team, competed in the Special Olympics, and played baseball with the Angels.

Linsey never met a stranger. She greeted everyone with a smile, asked their name, and usually  ended conversations by saying, "I will pray for you." Her favorite things included watching her DVDs, the Game Show Network, and watching Barney on the computer. She loved rainbows, singing the many songs she had memorized, her lamb, and spending time with her best friend, Tiffany, and her loving caregiver, Julia.

Linsey was a spiritual person who loved Jesus. At any moment, you might hear her say, "Thank you, Jesus." She was easy to love-sweet, kind and thoughtful. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linsey is survived by her two sisters, Ann Wright and D'Layne Fleming; her two brothers, Walter "Bubba" Ponfick and Chris Ponfick; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Memaw and Papaw, Walter and Sue.

Graveside Services & Interment will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
