Lynn Schneider, a lifelong Texas rancher and devoted family man, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 79. Born to Arnoldine Williams and Arlon Branch Schneider in San Marcos, Texas, Lynn spent his life on the family ranch in Fischer, where he proudly raised goats and carried on the ranching traditions he loved.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Lynn served his country with honor before returning home to Texas, where he met Sherry, the love of his life for 47 years. While he rarely left his ranch, when he did, he always had a great time with Sherry on their travels. They visited exciting places and friends.

He built a respected masonry business that became more than work; it brought him many dear friends who remained close throughout his life.

He loved working with his oldest son, Ryan, on the ranch, especially if it called for an early morning wake-up. Lynn enjoyed watching his youngest son, Reagan, kick for UTEP's football team, and later in life watching games together. He would also cheer on his grandkids in their various hobbies and sports. Lynn will be remembered for being the best man to have a beer with after a hard day's work, and caring for family and friends (and his dogs), in his own special way.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry; his sons Ryan (and wife Emily) and Reagan (and wife Shannon); and his wonderful grandchildren Henley, Everly, Birdie, and Schley. He also leaves behind a large circle of extended family and friends who will miss him deeply.

Services will be held at 10 AM  (with a visitation one hour prior) at First Baptist Church, 13085 FM 306, Canyon Lake, Texas, on Friday, September 26, 2025, followed by a private graveside service.
