Marcia J. Mendoza was born to Jeff Davis & Alice Patricia (Miller) Cross on January 14, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas. She passed from this life on July 10, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 66.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Davis and late husband, William Mendoza.

Marcia is survived by her mother, Alice Patricia (Miller) Cross; daughters, Amy Mendoza of Providence, RI and Tracy Mendoza of Warren, MA; partner, Robin Harbin of Spring Branch, TX; siblings, David Cross of WA and Cheryl Rockwell; grandchildren, Devin Mendoza of Providence, RI, Michael DeCosta of Providence, RI, Damien Mendoza of Providence, RI, Baker Stevens, and Riley Stevens, both of Warren, MA, and step-daughter, Chelsea Harbin of Spring Branch, TX

Marcia attended Manitou Highschool in Manitou Springs, CO. She later relocated to Rhode Island having her two daughters, Tracy and Amy, with late husband, William Mendoza. After raising her daughters in Rhode Island, Marica left for Texas where she would settle with her mother, sister, Cheryl and partner, Robin along with her nieces and nephews. Marcia worked as a caregiver using her loving and nurturing personality to take care of others until she passed.

She would always say how beautiful her daughters were and how much she missed everyone back in Rhode Island. Long phone calls were her favorite way to keep in touch spending sometimes hours at a time on the phone with family and friends talking about her adventures and life there. She loved sending pictures of her gardens, and gifts to those back home, even if it was just something that made her think of someone. She was always on the less serious side of life living every moment as a treat, who wanted the same for everyone else. And she would always encourage you to do what makes you happy.

She was a loving Partner, Mother, Grandmother, and friend to everyone she knew, and will be greatly missed by everyone in both Texas and Rhode Island.
