Margaret Anne (Berg) Paicurich, born to Arthur Ludwig Berg and Margaret Peirsol Berg on July 29,1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, died age 95 on March 3rd, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gene John Paicurich. She was a stewardess for Northwest Airlines until she married because at that time stewardesses had to be single.  She became a stay-at-home mother, probably because she and her husband both had mothers that had to work and no fathers at home with them. She volunteered at her children's schools. When all had left for marriage and college, she became a volunteer for the El Paso Municipal Probation Department helping mentor children after their first arrest. She did this for many years until they moved to New Braunfels, Texas. After Gene died she became a volunteer for Hope Hospice. For many years she worked in the office and also did 11th Hour, sitting beside those in their final hours of life. Her children teased her about her lists. She felt that if you wrote things down you could use your brain for better things.

She is survived by her sister Mary  Berg DeLong, son Lee Paicurich, daughters: Lynn (René) Casasnovas, Gail (Joel) Zorza, Ann (Gil) Fries and Dr. Jean Paicurich (Michael) Cole; 14 grandchildren: Eric (Vicki), Alex, Todd (Tali) Paicurich, Angela, Armando (deceased), Xavier (Kimberly) Casasnovas, Christopher (Heidi), Jon, Kyle (Amanda) Zorza, Bailey Fries, Garrett (Haylee), Grayson, Jackson, J.P. Cole; 18 great-grandchildren: Quinn, Duke, Kyra, Krue Paicurich, Alyssa, Adam, Sebastian, Xander, Jaxon Casasnovas, Isabel Casasnovas (David) Martinez, Sydney, Benjamin, Tucker, Sloane Zorza, Ellis, Reese, Maverick, Rowan Cole.

Burial Ceremony at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday March 12th, 2025 at 9:45 AM. Memorial Mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels at 10:00 AM on Thursday March 13th, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to New Braunfels Public Library, Hope Hospice or Mission of Devine Mercy.
