Margie L. Krause, 83, of Canyon Lake, went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on November 10, 2024.  She was born to Margie Eloise (Cowan) King and Lawrence L. King.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Arlon F. (Shorty) Krause of 58 years, and her brother Vincent Ferrante.

Margie also known to her family as Dinky, was a homemaker and fantastic cook. Holidays were her favorite time of year, and she would go all out for family gatherings.  She eventually went to work as a school Cafeteria cook.  She loved drawing and she enjoyed ceramics, but the most important thing in her life was her faith in Jesus and the love she had for her family and friends.  She was there for everyone.

She was raised mostly by her loving Grandparents, Lottie and Thomas Cowan, they instilled her with the faith and love she carried throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda L. Kyler, her husband Terry L. Kyler and son T. J. Krause and his wife Angie Krause. Her Grandchildren Heather B. Santos, husband Michael R. Santos, Kevin Kyler, Zachary Kyler, Amanda Krause and Dillon Luehlfing and Amber Krause.  Great Grandchildren Michael R. Santos Jr., Payton Leigh Santos, Bailee A. (Amy) Ehrich, Caleb Michael Krause, Addie Rae McIntire, Huntleigh Ann McIntire and Lainey Lynette Leuhlfing; siblings, JR Ferrante, Donna Ferrante, Randy Ferrante, Alice Boyd, Betty Lawrence and Larry King and numerous cousins and great friends.

The funeral Service will held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 15, 2024 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake Sattler, Texas. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Fischer Cemetery in Fischer, Texas.
