On Wednesday, Feb. 03, 2021, Marissa Beth Lula, at the age of 36, unexpectedly passed away, leaving her role as an Earth Angel and ascending into our Guardian Angel.

Marissa was born on July 14, 1984, in Bridgeport, CT. She graduated from Naugatuck High School and continued her education at Porter and Chester Institute to pursue her passion of becoming an automotive mechanic. After living in Connecticut for 20 years, she moved to Texas in 2004 with her future wife, Victoria. They spent 13 wonderful years together, filled with love and joy, before they became married in 2017, recently celebrating three years of marriage. Marissa was most recently living in Canyon Lake, TX, and worked as an Auto Mechanic in San Antonio, TX.  She devoted all of her time to her wife, her children, and her grandchildren. Marissa was known for always smiling and she showed no hesitation in expressing her love.

She is survived by her wife Victoria Lula; her son Tyson Wilber and wife Kirstie Wilber; her daughter Hollie Ali and husband Angel Ali; her four grandchildren, Aysen Ali, Tyson Jr. Wilber, Andon Ali, and Haven Ali; her six siblings, Megan Lawrie and husband Erec Lawrie, Melissa Lula, Melinda Andrews and husband Darnell Andrews, Tommy Panton-Lula, Ashley Panton-Lula, and Angel Panton-Lula; her father, Thomas Lula; her four nieces, Nina Javier, Abigail Lawrie, Vanessa Lawrie, and Ari Andrews. Marissa was preceded by her mother, Philomena Cassidy.

A memorial and celebration of Marissa's life will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Canyon Lake, TX with her wife and family and all those who loved her. Words cannot express how much she is already missed.
