Michael Allen Agold was born October 3, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, to Max and Viola (Laubach) Agold.
He passed on August 19, 2023. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Viola Agold and
his brother-in-law, Gerry Gervin. Michael is survived by his son, Matthew (Amanda) Agold and daughter,
Michelle (Christopher) Agold Salazar. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Allen Agold , Austin Agold,
Alayna Agold, Christopher Salazar, Maximus Salazar, and Ethan Salazar. He is also survived by his siblings
Maxine Gervin, David Agold, Patricia Keller, Jeanette Blount, Kathryn (Clarence) Ciomperlik, James
(Terri) Agold, and Max Agold and numerous nieces and nephews.
As a young boy, Michael was able to travel to a lot of places, including Austria, Germany, and Ohio, as
his father was in the Air Force. He graduated from Edison High School in 1966 and joined the Coast
Guard. After his military service,
Michael pursued a career in construction as a carpenter. Michael was a quiet, gentle soul with a dry
sense of humor, and he will be missed.
The family wants to thank our sister, Jeanette, for taking Michael under her wings and providing him
with love, care and a home for the last few years of his life.
We woUld also like to thank AIP Hospice for all their assistance with our brother.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:45 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church
Honey Creek, Spring Branch, Texas.
